FPSO redeployment

Converting and extending the life of an existing vessel within Singapore – refurbishing and commissioning the vessel’s cargo valve control system within a tight deadline.

With the old systems being manufactured in 1991, there were several complexities in upgrading them to meet current requirements, such as delivering an enhanced performance while ensuring fit with the existing space and weight limitations.

Overcoming the challenge of parts obsolescence, our procurement team worked closely with our global supply chain to identify the best quality substitutes at the most competitive price

Utilising our specialist FPSO Project Team, in conjunction with our local resource partners in Singapore and back-office engineering team in the UK, we were able to effectively generate a detailed inspection report, followed by:
