The Alderley Group commitment
At the Alderley Group, we are actively committed to reducing our carbon footprint. We recognise that it is often difficult to measure our carbon emissions however, we are ensuring that across the Group the following steps are being taken to support our journey towards net zero carbon:
- Ensure our operations are as energy efficient as possible and, where possible, source electricity supplies from carbon neutral providers.
- Ensure the carbon footprint of our buildings is as low as possible by minimizing any heat loss, installing high-quality insulation, efficient HVAC and lighting.
- Continuously review our supply chain and deliveries and try to ensure that at all times the most carbon neutral methods possible are used in manufacturing, transport, distribution, and supply chain processes.
- Ensure packaging and packing materials are from sustainable sources whenever possible.
- Promote the use of video conferencing to reduce travel where possible.
- Establish and implement the use of suitable monitoring and targets to ensure the continual reduction of carbon emission.
